Basic Information

Unhardened austenitc stainless steel balls, they display good mechanical characteristics, toughness and corrosion resistance.

AISI 304L provides lower carbon content, AISI 302 better mechanical characteristics.

Balls are provided in the passivated condition.

AISI type 304 stainless steel balls are used where good corrosion resistance is important, but hardness is not.

They offer good resistance to atmospheric corrosion, dyes, food environments, sterilizing solutions and many organic

and inorganic materials.
